As we hear reports of yet another levee breaking as the Mississippi continues it’s rage against the creep oh humanity and people focus heat once again on FEMA, I’m left with the same question I was left with when the sub prime bomb went off. Are these people stupid? Why do people go back?
Is anyone really surprised these 100 year levee’s are crumbling to a 10 year storm? Is this even a ten year storm? This is the same tired song and dance that’s been playing since 1927. The levee’s break, everything flood and then people go back. The only surprise for me is the fact they are surprised when it happens again.
