Church and State

Lets toss the Bill or rights out for a moment and look at the good that can come out of a state religion.

OK short list, lets move on.

Lets flip this one around and look at the good a government can do when it invests heavily in the church.

Obama clearly isn't trying to create a situation where the state sponsors religion, because that was already done to a small extent. Bush already tossed out the first amendment Obama is just making sure the crack stays open.

Light rays and waves of a light beam "no law respecting an establishment of religion" is tied immutably to "prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to
assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

Because it's the same thing. If you are a liar you will lie in church and on the hill.

Because it's the same thing. The danger to the church is as great as the danger to the state and it is about truth.

Because enough lies have been told to those who cannot read for themselves.
