No American Troops in Pakistan

Gas Prices fall below $4.50 in LA

I had to drive into the Valley to day, the deep valley. I've got two big dogs, so I'm still one of those guys driving an SUV.

I did downgrade two years ago, size wise, but lately gas in LA has been close to $5.00. I think I was grinning from ear to ear today, as I put the nozzle in the tank, $4.49!

I got to my friends hows, our first visit to see the new baby. I brought up the price of gas. My excitement had long passed and my friend shared the excitement I had left in the city. I know she was considering getting in her car.

We talked more about it, we've accepted the fact it will be nice to see gas under $7 soon.

My first car I could fill up and buy smokes and get change back from a 20. Today if I can fill up for less than $80 I get semi-hard.

Exxon, the world's largest publicly traded oil company, said fourth-quarter net income rose 14% to $11.66 billion, or $2.13 per share. The company earned $10.25 billion, or $1.76 per share, in the year-ago period.

The profit topped Exxon's previous quarterly record of $10.7 billion, set in the fourth quarter of 2005, which also was an all-time high for a U.S. corporation.

Am I alone. The question comes back from time to time, more often now than before. I am.

It was so strange the world I lived in when I was young, it was just cruel, but now the taste is the same but the flavor is more complex.

I was a rebel. But I didn't know it at the time. I trusted no one and the system was corrupt. I was an artist and I was going to be better, but then a dollar sign someone put on the tracks derailed me. I wasn't going to work for the man, but he was paying well.

The promise of a different path gave way to becoming the thing I hated and it's my fault. I forgot not how, but why we got so far so fast. I forgot what the words meant even though I had stood on a box and read them to others because they couldn't hear me on the floor.

I went to sleep protecting the people I love and I woke up a war criminal.
